November 7, 2004: Sometime during the past month the server-side script (software) for our class forum was hijacked. I have removed all links to the forum so that it can no longer be accessed. I hope to have time in the near future to research possible remedies so that the forum can be up and running again. All of our posts from the last two years were lost.

March 10, 2004: On Friday, 2 April, our COACH JACK CARLISLE will be among eight persons inducted into the MISSISSIPPI SPORTS HALL OF FAME. The banquet will be held at the VICKSBURG CONVENTION CENTER, 1600 MULBERRY ST. in VICKSBURG, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $75.00 per person. Prior to the banquet, FRIENDS of JACK CARLISLE, headed by JANE and MIKE DENNIS, and ably assisted by GRADY McCool and others you know from our and other years, such as WALLACE McMILLAN, BO BOWEN, and SKIPPER JERNNIGAN, are hosting a reception (4:30-6:30), in Room MR1 at the Convention Center. This will not only be a splendid way to express your congratulations to COACH CARLISLE, but also to visit with old and dear friends. We're hoping for a great turnout by his many friends from his more than 50 years of coaching. Of course, among other things, he was a very special part of our senior year in high school.

Along this line, numerous persons have expressed interest in making a gift to THE CARLISLES. It's thought that one combined monetary gift would be the best means for his friends to do so. February 14, 2004: A page for Dr. Cleland was added today to the faculty/staff section. Don’t miss it. There’s also information on a project underway by the Class of 1961 to raise $300,000 to build a field house for Murrah.
